EFFECT OF GROUP COUNSELING PROGRAM ON IMPROVING THE SOCIAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL ADAPTATION SKILLS OF THE WORKING WOMAN IN JORDAN

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the effect of group counseling program on improving the social and psychological adaptation skills of the working woman in Jordan. The study sample consisted of (20) women in health clubs who were chosen by the method of randomization. The study subjects were randomized to experimental and control groups, social psychological adaptation scale was used . The results of the study showed that there was no differences between the experimental and control groups in the tribal measurement and reflecting the equivalence between the two groups, the existence of differences between the experimental and control groups in the measurement of follow-up and tend to differences in favor of the experimental group. The researchers recommend increasing the extension programs to deal effectively with all mental illnesses and to bring about psychological and social adjustment.
