Abstract

The Algerian government has made reforms in many sectors such as justice, administration and economy, but the most important sector that the Algerian government give it a great importance is Education because it is considered as the basis in forming the society and the creation of Elites. Most of the current studies focus on the rise of this sector through the deep reforms made by the Ministry of Education. The aim of these reforms is to Keep pace with modern developments and the openness to the world. These changes did not exclude any stage and covered all educational materials, in different phases starting by the change of the curriculum and the educational goals. The approach applied in these reforms is the competencies based Approach where the learner is the center of the teaching process. It is taken into consideration his mental, physical and Psychological abilities. The Physical Education- as the other teaching subjects – aims to develop the personality of the individual from all sides (psychomotor health and social) by using sport and action. It gives the learner the ability to be a healthy and stable individual who have harmonious relations with the external periphery. In this study, we will try to find out to what extent the aims of the lesson of the Physical Education are attempted, in these reforms from the teachers ' point of view and through the Finalities planned by the Ministry of Education which wants to realize cognitive, affective and skills goals
